A downloadable game for Windows and Linux
Alice's Mom's Rescue is an indie puzzle / platformer game in the pure style of retro pixel art.
The giant raven has captured Alice's mother.
Help Alice save her mother through the 3 worlds and 25 levels!
Change Alice's height by jumping on the magic mushrooms to get through the tiny spaces.
But be aware that a small size will also affect Alice's physical abilities!
Solve puzzles, beware of the evil cats, birds, bats & spikes, and find the right path to victory!
Update: The PC Windows version now include a SpeedRun mode with best time ranking + 3 difficulty mode !
The game is available in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian languages !

-PC Linux (64bits only, library needed: SDL2, SDL2_mixer, SDL2_image)
-Atari Falcon CT60 (Joystick or keyboard)
-Firebee (USB keyboard only)
-Dreamcast (CDI file to burn on a CD-R using DiscJuggler)
These downloadable versions of my game are intended to be purchased and played for the buyer only, you cannot sell them in physical or digital form!

I absolutely enjoyed Alice Sisters and this one is also pretty fun as a first game/prequel!
I hope it gets a Genesis, SNES and GBA ports at some point.
The Atari Jaguar CD version of Alice's Mom's Rescue is no longer available?
the Jaguar versions are removed from my website but will be available somewhere else, check atariage in some months.
Removed even for people that had bought it previously unfortunately. about to go on vacation and figured id finally try to beat it but i put a different game on the skunk and i guess the file is no longer on my PC. perfect reason never to buy digital i guess. oh well
itch.io doesn't allow many option in this regards. but it is your responsibility that whenever you buy something on internet you should download it right away and save it. if itch.io goes bankrupt tomorrow you will lose everything expect if you downloaded and saved each games you bought on your harddrive + backup.
howdy, howdy, long story long to why I purchased this port:
I was re-watching Angry Video Game Nerd stuff and there was a video with his review about the Atari Jaguar CD. He didn't get to showcase anything because his Jaguar CD add-on was broken, and that made me look up forums about common Jaguar CD problems. AAAAANYWAY, one (EDIT *of) the top search result described some common mechanical thing, but in the post the guy says something like " . . . and now I can play Alice's Mom's Rescue, which I highly recommend" Me --> : /, BUT one of the top search results I got, when I wanted to see what the gameplay was like to see if it was worth a spin on RetroArch, was an itch.io link to here.
I'm surprised it's ported here so flat-out so I bought it. Right on OrionSoft!!!!
What I buy a game for 8$ and I no possibly download a game for Jaguar, Jaguar CD and Dreamcast
the price has risen for those platform, you should have downloaded them right after you bought the game. Now, 8$ for 4 game platforms, it's cheap. normally you should pay 8$ per platform.
And I guess I have to pay $9 again, if I pay $1 it won't add up to the $8

Hi there, is it possible to skip the full screen question at the start in the windows version? It works on the steam deck well but this makes it a problem in docked mode. Thanks!
I'm planing a linux port and will try to revamp the game and remove any "windows" specific stuff. I hope I can make the update in the coming months

Can the Jaguar ROM of this game be played on an emulator like Virtual Jaguar?

Jaguar ROM Version does not work on the MiSTer FPGA. Black Screen after the Rotating Orion Logo.
I didn't even know that MiSTer FPGA had a Jaguar core, try to contact the core developper.
The Jaguar Core can be found here https://github.com/ElectronAsh/Jaguar_MiSTer_new but only runs a few Roms but there must be a earlier Version of Alice Moms Rescue which did work as shown on youtube. Contact the Devs will be most likely useless. Last Activity on Git for this Core was nearly 2 Years ago
